Jermyn Consulting Registered for BS 25999

On 19th November 2009, Jermyn Consulting’s business continuity, IT disaster recovery and risk management consultancy services were assessed and registered against the provisions of British Standard BS 25999-2:2007.
By achieving UKAS accredited registration against the Standard, we have demonstrated that our own business continuity management arrangements are fully aligned with current best practice.
We are at the forefront of the development and implementation of business continuity management systems. We developed our own business continuity management system to comply with the requirements of BS 25999 - that's how we can be certain that the services we provide for our clients are also fully compliant.
We selected NQA, a leading assessment, verification and certification body to audit us against the British Standard. NQA conducted a comprehensive two-stage review of our business continuity management system, policies and procedures. Having completed a positive audit and subsequently approved our registration, NQA will ensure that we maintain our business continuity management system to the Standard by an ongoing monitoring process.
Demonstrating adherence to business continuity standards is becoming critically important for all organisations, large and small. In particular for key supply chains where evidence of capability to provide continuity of service, in the event of any major incident, is essential. Achieving BS 25999 registration provides independent and auditable evidence of capability in this important area.
